Gorski
was born and raised in New Jersey. He has always had a passion
for art and nature… and for questioning authority.
He
received a Masters degree in Film Arts at Miami International University,
a BS degree in Visual Communications from the Art Institute of Fort
Lauderdale (AIFL) a Liberal Arts AA degree (focus in Philosophy
and Ethics) from Broward Community College.
Gorski
began working in television in 1992 as a broadcast graphic designer/animator.
In '94 he became art director of The Animation Factory, working
on commercials, game cinematics, and Saturday morning cartoons.
In 1995 Gorski joined faculty at AIFL to help design a computer
animation program. In 1997 he became a full-time instructor spending
much of his spare time educating himself in culture, philosophy,
and animal rights.
He
is co-founder of Rattle
the Cage Productions, making docs, commercials, and PSA's concerning
animal protection issues. RTC credits include the Wildlife Care
Center of Fort Lauderdale, VIVA USA, SHARK, Dolphin Project, One
Voice, and Dolphin Freedom Foundation.
Gorski
works with former animal trainers and wildlife specialists designing
lectures and presentations for schools, universities, and conferences
on the subjects of Marine Mammals in Captivity and Guerilla Documentary
Filmmaking.
His
adventurous nature has delivered him down the muddy rivers of the
Amazon Jungle with Yanomami indians and has compelled him to hike
through the Sahara desert with nomads on Christmas day, armed with
just his journal and a toothbrush.
This is Gorski's first feature film.
